Jean Kelly

I’m Jean Kelly and I’m on my second “tour of duty” as a docent at Strathearn Park.  I took my training in 1987 with Pat Havens, and did tours for the next nine years.

My husband and I returned to our home state of Minnesota for another nine years and then, happily moved back to Simi Valley again.  While Minnesota is our home state and we do love it, Simi Valley seems to us to be our “home city”.  We’ve both been busy here in church and the community and it is here that we’ve made so many friends.

Strathearn Park is a very special place and is lovingly and painstakingly cared for.  That makes it a pleasure to take people through the buildings and share their history.
