I have lived in Simi
Valley for over 30 years. When I visited the Strathearn House in
the past, I always thought to inquire about requirements for a
docent. Low and behold, two years ago, I met Karla at a
Portfolio Day at Valley View and she invited me to be a docent:
and here I am! I have been in education for almost 30 years; a school district counselor for the Simi Valley School District. I have been a volunteer at the Getty Museum for over 10 years. I love history, art, enjoy the performing arts, meeting new people and love being on the Second Sunday shift with 4 wonderful people. Lucy |
