I'm a Native
Californian, grew up in the San Fernando Valley and have lived
in Ventura County for 20 Years, the last nine in Simi Valley.
I'm married and my husband and I have four sons, two
daughter-in-laws and five grandchildren. I have worked at Amgen
in Corporate Security for the past 10 Years. In my spare time my
husband and I enjoy camping, riding our Harley, driving our '32'
Ford Roadster, and living in Simi. I was fortunate to attend Pat
Haven's last SV history class and became a docent in June 2005.
Since I really like being around old things I feel right at home
in the Colony House, my favorite building. I enjoy meeting new
and interesting people and working with others that appreciate
the beauty and history of Strathearn Park. To help keep this
wonderful piece of history alive for future generations is a
privilege and an honor.
